Hi! I'm Chetan, an experimentalist working
on artificial gauge fields with ultracold strontium atoms

In Assoc. Prof. David Wilkowski's group, we create non-Abelian gauge fields
using atom-light interaction and simulate their effect on atomic wave packet in free space. By directly observing the dynamics of
the wave packet, we aim to extract geometrical and topological properties of the underlying Hamiltonian.

Michelson Interferometer

Michelson interferometer with an arm length of 1 meter that we put together from scratch as a part of outreach activities at SPMS, NTU.

About Me

I was born and raised in Tirupati, a town in southern India. I got my PhD from School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University in 2023. Before that, I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati with bachelor of technology (B. Tech.) in Engineering Physics in 2018. I am passionate about physics, music and food.
